In the most urgent situations, acting quickly and with precision is essential. In March 2021, at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Fondazione Marcelo Burlon made a room available in the “Ostello Bello” hostel in Milan: here, it welcomed Ukrainian boys and girls, men and women fleeing the war. The room, over the period of more than a month, took in more than thirty people. The initiative was also supported by the healthy fast food chain "Healthy Colors", which donated meals to guests.
