For ten years SPRINT—Independent Publishers and Artists' Books Salon has been an institution of underground culture in Italy. The fair has been gathering people, projects, magazines and discussions for three days every Fall in Milan since 2013. SPRINT has always been a moment of community, a public square shared by thousands of people who exchange ideas and energies around magazines and photographs. In 2022, in its tenth edition, SPRINT was supported for the first time by Fondazione Marcelo Burlon.

Lots of innovations debuted in that edition: a partnership with MIGRA—Feria de Arte Impreso; the SURPRIZE – SUPPORTING PUBLISHING PRACTICES award; and many exhibitions held in venues scattered all around the city such as the new space Dropcity or the Istituto Svizzero.
